Instead of continuing to increase the amount of formula Grant is taking by bottle, the last few days he has been taking less and less. When we go to give him his bottle he starts shaking his head side to side, flailing his arms around and kicking his legs. The last two nights as I've attempted to hold the bottle in his mouth, in spite of his attempts to reject it, he has responded by throwing up all over me. :)
The nurse told me that some babies get really used to tube feeding and don't like the bottle because it is too much work to suck. I really hope that this is not what Grant has decided because we are eager to get the tube out. But, he has to drink all his bottles by mouth for that to be a reality. Please pray that Grant would start to like his bottle again.

Now I know why God sent Aaron and Hur to help hold up Moses's arms during the battle against the Amalekites.

There are prayer warriors that you do not even know...that are holding up your arms...and..especially one you DO know, the Lord Jesus Christ.

After speaking briefly to your mom today I immediately called Donna Buckey as well as Fran Smeak. Prayers are flowing like crazy! Please contact me or have your mom do so if there is anything I can do, anything anyone needs. I have grown so close to you and Grant, Shannon and am praying desperately for Grant's health and peace for his wonderful, loving family. Jesus is holding you!!!
i hardly know you guys. but i've been reading this blog and praying for you since you had grant and there are many more like me. be encouraged in the family of prayer partners you don't even know you have.
