A Day of Fasting

A friend of ours suggested an idea to us that we'd be remiss to ignore: she encouraged us to ask those of you who are followers of Jesus and are familiar with the practice of fasting to join us in a day of prayer and fasting for Grant on Wednesday the 24th (the day of his heart cath)that he'd be completely well.

To all of our friends who are not followers of Jesus--please don't feel left out! Know that we love you and very much appreciate all of your kindness, encouragement and care.

Dear Jim and Shannon,
I spoke with Jessica O'Neill today (update another time), and she told me about the arrival of Grant Samuel-YAYYYY!!! We relished the photos of him,- he's a peach!
She also told me about the ordeal you have been living with, and my heart goes out to you both. Of all the people in the world, you two must be among the strongest, and all the Tuckers are thinking of you, and hoping for all the best of everything for all three of you. We will keep track through this site, which is wonderful for those of us who are wanting to keep up without intruding.
Aren't babies just a wonder??

Warm regards,
Barbara for all the Tuckers

I'm in... um, tell me what EXACTLY to do... just not eat/drink all day and pray? I'm clueless, but I'm in. Sorry I haven't been around much, I actually delivered a baby last week (not on purpose; it was an emergency) and the mom had some complications... anyway. I'm back! -Er

Jim and Shannon,

Howdy from Texas! Looks like you guys will be covered all across America tommorrow. My son consistently prays for your little one every chance he can. He also asks others to pray for you too.

Your son is adorable. We love you guys and we are keeping you in our prayers. Consider yourselves hugged from the Bairds....

love you all very much
