Pray against infection!

I just went to check on Grant and he's been sneezing and coughing throughout the night and has a slight temperature. Please continue to pray against infection.

Shannon, you don't know me, but I know your mom (from Northbrook). Thanks for the blogs. What a nice way to keep up without being an intrusion. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Grant as well as Jim, each and every day. My daughter went thought a health situation when she was 8 (she had cancer) and the power of prayer is an amazing thing. I BELIEVE Elizabeth is with us and well today because of all the prayers from people we knew and did not know that were praying for her. Believe in miracles.... I have a 17 year old one right now. Love to you all. Tammy Mines

Shannon and Jim,
Darryl and I check your blog daily...(sometimes lots more than that for me). We continue to keep Grant in our thoughts and prayers. Shannon, I hope you are getting some good rest.
We love you!

This is what I shall keep in mind and so regain some hope: surely Yahweh’s mercies are not over. His deeds of faithful love are not exhausted, every morning they are renewed; great is his faithfulness! ‘Yahweh is all I have’ I say to myself, and so I shall put my hope in him.
Lamentations 3:21-24

Hi Shannon,
We have been praying for you, Jim, and Grant; for healing for Grant, and "the peace that passes all understanding"(Philippians 4:6-7) for you and Jim. It is such an amazing thing when God gives you his peace in the midst of incredibly difficult circumstances, and you KNOW that it's only through God that you are able to have that peace.

The people of Lakeshore Community Church (Muskegon) will be lifting Grant up in prayer.

You are not alone...

"Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows...
he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,and by his wounds we are healed."
(excerps from Isaiah 53:4-5)

I am praying for complete restoration of Grants lungs and supernatural healing so they can remove the chest tube. I am also continuing to pray for Shannon's post-patrum recovery, milk production and sleep, as well as peace and strength to cover over you both.

Thank you for the blog updates, it is so great that we can "check in" daily but not "bug" you on the phone.

We love you,
The Jones family

Shannon, We have all been praying diligently for you, Jim and your dear baby Grant. Praying especially for a miracle of healing for his lungs and for protection against infection. We love you and are so grateful for the blog updates- the volunteers really appreciate it too. Love-Laura, Mona and everyone at Care Net
