Still cookin'

Well, it looks like my midwife's prediction of this weekend was not so accurate. It is Sunday afternoon and no signs of labor. This is just like what happened with Grant. They put me on bedrest so he wouldn't come early and then he ended up being late! In his case it was a good thing because he was bigger and stronger for his surgery. If it were up to me I'd have this baby today! But, I continue to trust in God's perfect timing and try to enjoy this last week or two with Grant as king of the castle.

His cold finally seems to be gone, but he still has a pretty serious cough. This is causing some wheezing and labored breathing and unfortunately for all of us, keeps him up at night. If he's not significantly better in the next day or two I'll have to take him back to the doctor. I guess it is better to be on the safe side and make sure his lungs are still clear.

Wow Shannon you look AWESOME. I am 16 weeks and don't look near as good as you. Besides the beautiful belly and glow you wouldn't even know you were pregnant. Lucky!!! Now I can't wait to see pictures of your little girl. God Bless...I will be praying for a smooth delivery and healthy baby girl.
