Ankle in cast

Remember that sprained ankle I had last month? Well...it never got better. I went to an orthopedic surgeon today and he put it in a cast. I'll only have the cast for about 2 weeks then I'll start intensive physical therapy so I can get back to normal as soon as possible.

I'm looking to hire someone to baby-sit Grant while I'm in physical therapy starting in two weeks and then possibly for two mornings a week through the summer so I can take a class. I'm looking for someone who has LOTS of experience with infants, ideally a mom with grown kids who has done this before....Please let me know if you or anyone you know is interested. Thanks!

Shannon,
I didn't know casts were contagious. I'm so sorry to hear about yours. If I didn't have my foot in a cast for 6+weeks I'd try to give you some help; instead I'll do some thinking about who could help you.

Grant is looking so grown up and IS making lots of progress, but I can completely understand your "down" days. Stay strong. God is good.

Praying,
Janet

2 mornings a week without kids? You'll have to share what that's like! Although occasionally I go grocery shopping by myself :)

I'm going to toot my own horn and say that I am amazing with children and, despite having 3 fun kiddos (which would be stimulating to Grant), would love to care for him a couple days a week.

If all else fails, I'm here.
;)
