Grant is out of surgery and is experiencing a "normal" recovery (alternating between crying and sleeping). Below is a verse God spoke to me yesterday when I was praying for Grant:
"You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. Oh Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!" Psalm 30:11-12
We are so thankful for God's provision.

"It's hard to keep a good man down"! I think your real challenge will be keeping Grant from being his usual exuberant self while he quickly heals!

Glad all went well. It is so hard to see them come out of surgery. He will be in our continued prayers.
